How much does it cost?
Nothing. Uniflat is free: no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
When does it launch, and where?
In April 2027, on iPhone, in Milan, Bologna and Rome together. If you join the list we’ll write to you on the day we open in your city.
What about Android?
It comes after iPhone, if enough of you ask for it. Join anyway: the list tells us that too.
How is the percentage calculated?
We compare your answers about living together with the other person’s, weighting each one by how much it matters to you. Then we add interests, area, budget, timing and age. The reasons are always next to the number.
Can I look for a place and also offer a room?
Yes. You can look for people to find a place with, or post the free room you have and find someone to fill it.
Who sees my profile?
Only students in your city who use Uniflat. You can pause your profile whenever you like, and it disappears from other people’s feeds.
Who reads my messages?
You and the person you’re talking to. We only open them if someone reports a specific message, to check the report.
Does Uniflat find the house too?
No, and we say so clearly. Uniflat helps you find the right people. You look for the place together, wherever you like, and anyone who already has a free room can post it.
What if someone behaves badly?
You can block and report anyone, at any time. Blocking is immediate and works both ways. We read every report within 24 hours.
What happens when I join the list?
You get a welcome email straight away. Then just one more, on the day Uniflat opens in your city. Every email has a link at the bottom to take yourself off.
In April, someone will be looking for a flatmate like you.
Leave your email and we’ll write to you on the day we open in your city. Once, and that’s it.
